DABR Installs New President, Officers, and Directors
The Dayton Area Board of REALTORS® (DABR) swore in the 2012 officers and directors at the REALTORS® Installation Reception, held at the Top of the Market Banquet Center on January 12th. The highlight of the event was the inauguration of Anjanette Frye as president of the 2600-member association.
Frye, a REALTOR® with RCF Properties, has been a Realtor for 20 years. In 2010 she served as DABR treasurer and chairperson of the finance committee, and in 2011 she was elected president-elect and oversaw the strategic planning committee.
“I am honored to be serving as president of this organization in our 103rd year! Our members realize that home ownership matters, and as we move forward into 2012 we are all optimistic that the market will continue to turn around as it has the past few months. It is the wonderful membership that makes us one of the most highly respected Boards in the country, and I appreciate the confidence you have placed in me,” Frye stated during her inauguration.
Other Board officers installed include Nancy Farkas, president-elect, and Mark Kottman, treasurer. Associated with Coldwell Banker Heritage, Farkas is a 13-year veteran of the real estate industry, and Kottman, who is associated with Real Living Realty Services, has been a REALTOR® for 36 years.
Newly elected and re-elected REALTORS® to the Board of Directors are Kim Fox, Skip Miller, and Deborah Sasser, associated with Coldwell Banker Heritage; Sham Reddy, associated with Real Living Realty Services; and C. Michael Royce, owner of Royce & Associates.
REALTORS® who are serving unexpired terms on the Board of Directors are Lisa Arzate, associated with Coldwell Banker Heritage; Jan Leverett and Robert Morrison, associated with Irongate Inc., REALTORS®; Ralph Mantica, associated with Kinzeler Realtors; Guy Roth, associated with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Big Hill; and Mike Seagraves, associated with RE/MAX Alliance Realty. Robert Wilson, broker/manager with Irongate Inc., REALTORS®, will continue to serve on the Board as immediate past-president.
