Dayton Area Realtors Encourage Community Support for "Toys for Tots"
“Every child deserves a little Christmas.”
The Dayton Area Board of Realtors (DABR) agrees. And to show their continued support for the needy children of the Miami Valley, DABR will once again dedicate their annual Holiday Reception to the United States Marine Corps’ international Toys for Tots program. And this year, area Realtors are encouraging the public to participate.
Now through December 6th, the public is invited to donate a new, unopened toy or gift and drop it off at one of the many businesses listed below. Toys for Tots collection boxes have been placed at these convenient locations, just waiting to be filled up! Then on December 7th, all the collection boxes will be gathered up and presented to the Marine Corps Reserve Unit at the Realtor’s annual Holiday Reception.
“We’ve been dedicating our annual Holiday Reception to Toys for Tots for 27 years,” explains DABR president Bob Wilson. “And every year, I’m more amazed at the number of toys we are able to donate to the Marines. Our Realtor and affiliate members truly appreciate and believe in the Toys for Tots program, and we welcome the addition of donations from families and individuals around the Dayton area.”
The Dayton Area Board of Realtors has consistently been the largest contributor to the Toys for Tots program in the Dayton area, having donated countless thousands of toys and over $40,000 to the cause since 1984.
