The Dayton Area Board of REALTORS® swore in the 2011 officers and directors at the annual Realtors Installation Banquet, held at the Schuster Center on January 13th. The highlight of the event was the inauguration of Bob Wilson as president of the 2800-member association.
Wilson, a broker/manager with Irongate Inc., REALTORS®, has been a REALTOR® for 37 years. In 2009 he served as DABR treasurer and chairperson of the finance committee, and in 2010 he was elected president-elect and oversaw the strategic planning committee.
“I am looking forward to an exciting year working for the membership and helping them succeed in this real estate market. While many areas have seen an improvement in home sales, there are still challenges that need to be overcome. I am very optimistic about the months ahead, and I am proud to represent an organization that will bring valuable services and tools to its members,” Wilson stated during his inauguration.
Other Board officers installed include Anjanette Frye, president-elect, and Nancy Farkas, treasurer. Associated with RCF Properties, Frye is an 18-year veteran of the real estate industry, and Farkas, who is associated with Coldwell Banker Heritage, has been a REALTOR® for nearly 12 years.
Newly elected and re-elected Realtors to the Board of Directors are Ralph Mantica, associated with Kinzeler REALTORS®; Michael Martin, associated with Kamela & Company Realty; Robert Morrison and Jan Leverett, associated with Irongate Inc., REALTORS®; and Tammy Murphy, associated with Exit Realty.
