Nominations for this year’s Marie Kindrick Fair Housing Award are still being accepted.  Each year at the April Fair Housing Luncheon, the Dayton Area Board of REALTORS®, in conjunction with the Miami Valley Fair Housing Center, makes this very special presentation to three individuals who have “exhibited an outstanding commitment to fair housing principles”. The three categories recognized are: a community volunteer, a community professional and a REALTOR® member. Click here to download the nomination form.
Please return the form and supporting information to the Board office.  You may contact the Equal Opportunity & Diversity Committee Chair Pam Waltrip at pwaltrip@citywidedev.com or John Zimmerman of the MVFHC at John.Zimmerman@mvfairhousing.com with any questions or for seeking guidance in submitting your nomination.

Harry Vearn, 2009 President of The Dayton Area Board of REALTORS®

Welcome to the first edition of the new online Dayton Area REALTOR®. There are obviously many changes from the print publication, but the core content that you have come to expect from the publication is still here. Plus, you'll notice the ability to click to view videos and other information, offering a better and more enjoyable user experience. In this issue, for instance, we have the full Installation Banquet ceremony available to watch. If you weren't there, check out the festivities. If you were there, relive it again. We also have the Sales Leaders Luncheon presentations availble for viewing.

Another change you'll notice this year is our logo (at the top of the page). DABR is celebrating our 100th Anniversary this year, and to kick off the celebration we've unveiled a new, contemporary logo that instantly advertises our organization and our online presence. We hope you like it, and we're looking forward to bringing you some exciting campaigns to celebrate our second century of existence.
