Dayton Area Board of REALTORS® IDX Web Site Options
Prerequisite for displaying IDX Information: You must have your own web site. At this time there are three (3) options for displaying IDX listings on your web site:
1. Rapattoni "Smart Frame" Solution:
Participants and Subscribers, upon consent and control of the Participant, may "smart frame" the Rapattoni public MLS site for display on the Participant's and/or Subscriber's web site. DABR does not charge a fee for this option. Code to place the search page on an IDX site is available to Participants and Subscribers upon completion of an IDX Registration Form. 2. FTP Site:
Participants and Subscribers, upon consent and control of the Participant, may retrieve IDX listings through access to the DABR FTP site for display on the Participant's and/or Subscriber's web site. This site will be updated with fresh information daily. Although DABR will not charge a fee for this option, most DABR members will need the services of a web manager in order to format the display of IDX listings on their web sites. Access to the FTP Server will be granted upon completion of the RETS/FTP Confidentiality Agreement by all parties.
3. "RETS Server":
Participants and Subscribers, upon consent and control of the Participant, may access the DABR RETS server to download active listing data to populate an IDX site, in accordance with DABR IDX Rules and Regulations. Access to the RETS Server will be granted upon completion of the RETS/FTP Confidentiality Agreement by all parties, and demonstration to DABR that the RETS Client software used to access the server is fully RETS compliant. There is currently no charge for access to the RETS Server, although most DABR members will need the services of a web manager in order to format the display of IDX listings on their web sites.
