New Construction Basics 1: Land Development to Drywall (Tue. 7 Apr, 2015 10:00 am - 12:00 pm)

CLASS HELD AT THE MODEL OF THE CURRENT CONSTRUCTION SITE in Springboro, 402 Brownstone Row- Across from Dorothy Lane Market.  The first of two construction classes- each 2 hours.   Lunch will be provided immediately following class for those in attendance. Charlie is a local builder and a Real Estate Broker and Member of the Institute of Residential Marketing. He has built over 2000 homes, condominiums, and apartments in the greater Dayton and Cincinnati areas.  A Release of Liability Form will be provided and required for registration.

10-Hour Post License Real Estate Sales - Day 1 (Wed. 8 Apr, 2015 8:00 am - 1:00 pm)

This two day class fulfills the new licensee's first post licensing requirement which must be completed within the first twelve months and reported to the ODRE&PL.  This course, designed by the state,  covers business practice issues of significance regarding financing, agency, advertising, property disclosure, earnest money, fair housing, ethics and contract  law. YOU MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE 100% of the 10 HOURS TO RECEIVE A COMPLETION CERTIFICATE.

10-Hour Post License Real Estate Sales - Day 2 (Thu. 9 Apr, 2015 8:00 am - 1:00 pm)

This two day class fulfills the new licensee's first post licensing requirement which must be completed within the first twelve months and reported to the ODRE&PL.  This course, designed by the state,  covers business practice issues of significance regarding financing, agency, advertising, property disclosure, earnest money, fair housing, ethics and contract  law. Diversity, Fair Housing and Community Initiatives (Thu. 9 Apr, 2015 11:30 am - 1:30 pm)

SPRONSORED by Dayton Chapter, Women's Council of REALTORS® Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about fair housing trends and discuss with one another what they see as fair housing obstacles in their community. In conjunction with this, attendees will learn how DABR’s committees improve our community and enhances our REALTOR® Members’ experience and knowledge of diversity in the community. State of Real Estate in the Miami Valley 2015 (Thu. 30 Apr, 2015 7:50 am - 12:00 pm)

Conducted by NAIOP-Commercial Real Estate Development Association,  Location- The Schuster Center in downtown Dayron.  7:15 am continental breakfast and networking.    Two national speakers with insightful presentations and panel discussion: Trends Being Set by Millennial Generation in Real Estate, presented by Nobu Hata-Director of Digital Engagement, National Association of REALTORS® followed by Emerging Trends in Office, Industrial, Flex / Business Parks and Land presented by Steve Martin- Chairman of NAIOP and Managing Principal of SDM Partners.  Mike Grauwelman, Executive Director of Montgomery County Land Reutilization Corporation will make the third presentation: Public Involvement in Real Estate-Land Banks Linking Business and Community Development followed by a Panel Cross-Topics Discussion & Review with Q & A with the all three speakers: Nobu, Steve and Mike. This annual event explores Miami Valley's real estate assets and how they impact the region's economy.
