Obtaining Your Real Estate License
Dear Aspiring REALTOR®:

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the real estate pre-license courses offered at the Dayton Area Board of REALTORS® in conjunction with Sinclair Community College. 

The Dayton Area Board of REALTORS® offers an accelerated program to allow you to be ready for the state exam in approximately 60 days. We also offer a superior examination PREP course that has an 87% pass rate for attendees. 

To sit for the real estate sales license examination you will need to be sponsored by a licensed broker and you are required to complete the following four state approved courses: 

Real Estate Principles & Practices 
Real Estate Law 
Real Estate Finance 
Real Estate Appraisal

To register, you must come into the REALTORS® Center between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Registration should be made no later than five (5) business days prior to the starting date. For your convenience, textbooks can be purchased at the Board office. Call if you have any questions at 937.223.0900, but you must register in person.
